AIR SAFETY AERONAUTICAL CONSULTANTS S/C
LTDA. is a company dedicated to provide aeronautical consulting, in general and
specialized, in flight safety subjects and personnel training. Its main activities covers
aircraft accident prevention and investigation, training, safety audits and elaboration of
operations and technical manuals and procedures, in the Brazilian and in international
market.
The company is recognized by the Brazilian
Government, through the Aircraft Accident Investigation and Prevention Center (CENIPA),
central organ of the Brazilian Aircraft Accident Investigation and Prevention System
(SIPAER).
It is the only private company recognized
by CENIPA to provide Flight Safety Course for civil aviation personnel under the flight
safety legislation. That course usually takes place in São Paulo city and it is already
registered by ICAO and included in the 2000 Edition of its Trainig Directory.
AIR SAFETY is the responsible company for
the elaboration, implementation and execution of the Aircraft Accident Prevention Program
of several operators as TRANSBRASIL AIRLINES, INTERBRASIL AIRLINES, LÍDER AIR TAXI,
PASSAREDO AIRLINES, SAÚDE UNICOR AIR AMBULANCES, BRASÍLIA AIR TAXI, TARGET AIR TAXI,
FEDERAL POLICE DEPARTMENT and FEDERAL HIGHWAY POLICE DEPARTMENT.
AIR SAFETY usually elaborates Operation,
Maintenance and Company Procedures Manuals, Minimum Equipment List (MEL), Safety Programs
and Training Programs, as well as manuals for Airbus 310 Procedures, Airmedical Transport
and Dangerous Good Transportation.
AIR SAFETY provides ground school for
pilots and technicians on those families aircrafts Boeing (B707, B727 and B737),
Douglas (DC8 and DC10), Fokker (F50 and F100), Airbus (A300, A310, A319 and A330), Cessna,
Learjet and Bell (B206 and B407).
AIR SAFETY is responsible for the
organization and coordination of the only course of Aerial Firefighting using helicopters
done in Brazil.
AIR SAFETY has accumulated great experience
either in airplanes or in helicopters, acting near off-shore and on-shore operators.
AIR SAFETY accomplished company evaluation
audits for EXXON, through ESSO BRASILEIRA, aiming select companies to be contracted for
service accomplishments in Brazil.
Its team has a large experience in
aviation, mainly in helicopter operation, flight safety, technical training and company
organizations. The most part of its personnel was qualified by the Brazilian Aeronautic
Command, United States Air Force (USAF), Federal Aviation Administration (FAA), National
Transportation Safety Board (NTSB), University of Southern Califórnia, United States
Army, Royal Air Force, VASP Brazilian Airlines, Boeing Aircraft Company, Airbus Industrie,
TAP Air Portugal and by other official institutions.
METHODS
AIR SAFETY understands that accident
prevention in aviation constitutes a great instrument of quality control because it
associates safety, performance and profitability into just one parameter.
In its policy, personnel selection, high
level of training and the elaboration of norms and procedures are the main criteria.
Consequently, the unconditional obedience
to the regulations and technical and operational procedures as well as the supervision in
all levels are essential for the accomplishment of the tasks.
For the execution of the services, the
team, in contact to the responsible personnel for each level, analyzes the operation
policy, the available resources, the quality and the adequacy of each activity and the
areas of potential risks, considering flight safety.
During the accomplishment of its tasks, AIR
SAFETY considers all the information are secret, none of them are delivered to public or
private institutions, unless under written authorization by the client. In the same way,
the reports, elaborated under contract, becomes customer property.

MIRAGE aircrafts, Transport Pilot in C-115 BUFFALO aircraft and Helicopter pilot.
- Also flew CESSNA T-37, EMB-110 BANDEIRANTE, EMB-121 XINGU
and other small aircrafts.

Agency (IBAMA).
